Thumbs up 3rd Reich period Cufflinks, Nazi, Axis,Collaborator etc.

We had a few really good cufflink topics over at GDC. Out of 4 2 are left. SO, I figured we get our own started here that will be here for future reference.

Please,,post whether they are yours or someone else's[please give credit though]. Tell us what ever you know about them,,style,,markings,,material,, etc..

So we'll be dealing with:

Cuff Links - 2 pieces joined with a link!
Hinged Post Cuff Links - 2 pieces post in between hinged at one or both ends
Cuff buttons - 1 piece [the emblem/decoration] joined by a curved post with small ball type at opposite end, ridged.
Cuff Link Toggle - 1 piece [emblem/design] connected with small chain and toggle at other end.
Cuff Link Post - 1 or 2 piece.attached either with threaded post or a snap.

O.K. , I've been going through some files and going to delete them so the first few pairs I'll be posting are NOT mine but just examples I've collected for my photo files.

Here's an early pair of party supporter examples. Base metal and enamel. Looking at the backs they are the true Cuff Links type:

Here's my contribution, cased with a stickpin. I would really love to find more cufflinks but I have not seen many at all.

Thumbs up

* Eamonn,,please,,you can add any type of WestWall item to the WW ring topic,,pins,,fobs,,even bracelets

Here's a scan from a period F.W. Assman & Sohne catalog.. The company produced many metal insignia items to include buttons,,and of course cufflinks.
