Hi
Signatures are tag lines that appear under your posts and contain a short line that could be about you, a favourite quote etc.
It is important to be aware that certain things are not allowed:
1. Commercial signatures to websites. The only people allowed commercial signatures are sponsors of the site whose advertising contribution helps pay towards the running of the forum. There is absolutely no exceptions on this rule.
2. Wanted Adverts - there is a forum dedicated to wanted adverts.
3. Anything that can be construed as being offensive to any member.
4. Images - no images should be attached to signatures at all. They make a members posts look cluttered and untidy and divert attention away from the members posts.
5. Keep them short. No essays or poems please. They should be a sentence at the most.
6. NO BLOCK CAPITALS. It is considered to be shouting in netiquette. It will also divert a readers eyes to what is important i.e the post
7. If you are a site that is purely for research and the advancement of the hobby, then send an email to info@worldwarmilitaria.com to have it agreed.
Note: If members continue to contravene the rules regarding signatures, then they will have their right to have a signature removed and maybe infracted for repeated offences
So, how do you add a signature?
You can edit a signature in the user control panel, but the quickest way is to click on 'Quick Links' and then select 'Edit Signature' under the 'User CP' option
This will open a text panel, the same as the one for making posts.
Enter your text
Click on ' Save Signature
Admire you signature
