Hi
This is a common question of confidentiality and a fair one to ask.
I can assure members that no moderator or member of administration can read your PM's. The 'private' part of private messages means exactly that.
It is worthwhile mentioning that PM's are covered by the rules of conduct, so there should be no spamming, harassing, bullying or threatening PM' sent to members. In such cases, it is perfectly valid for a member to pass on PM's to moderators. In short, PM's are covered under the infraction system so keep it polite and keep it civil.
Also remember that you can send a member a message by email if they have elected to switch on this function. One word of caution with this is that you must be aware that if you do this, the member receiving the email will have your email address.
