I just took a good look. Mine seems to be the 1936 edition. How does the front of yours look like ? What was the title?
I also just figured out that there were nice programm books (wit soft cover) that were available just before the rally.
The books like I showed are made afterwards. Getting more and more interested in these things :001_cool:

Regards, Wim :)

It never ceases to amaze me just how much literature such as this has survived not only the war, but the mainly the following years since the fall of the National Socialist regime.

Whilst I can fully understand the paperwork which survives as the record of an individual Solider and his military career and acheivements, be it in the form of Solduch, award citations etc, books such as this which are from the regime itself always suprise myself in how they have survived.

Whilst certainly not denying the historical value of these books in their own right, I am just suprised that they still surface.

Regards Richard.

I would very much like to complete my set of the official blue cloth-bound editions of the Reichsparteitag journals published under the series title of Reichstagung in Nuernberg [+ year] and featuring the logo of each year's RPT gold-stamped onto the cover. The edition I am missing is that for 1938. If anyone has any knowledge about where I might locate a copy, I would greatly appreciate knowing about it!

Many thanks,

Br. James

I have copies from 1933 to1938 that I will be listing on Ebay this week. Not sure if you ever completed your collection?

Dear Aileen,

Yes, I did complete my collection, and shortly after I posted that note last year. One of the members here came forward and offered me a 1938 RPT journal, which I was most pleased to purchase from him. But thank you so much for your interest and offering of your complete set or part thereof; most kind of you to take the time and search me out!

I do have one question for you: since none of my six annual editions came to me with the paper dust jacket present, I have been interested in adding that facet of the books for some years, ever since I first heard that they in fact originally came with dust jackets. Do you happen to have any of these available, though without the books themselves?

Best of luck for a quick sale, and every blessing,

Br. James

James and other members I think you might like to know in the 1934 edition of the blue book hardcover it shows a picture of (Phillip Bouhler) Adolf Hitlers secretary and in the photograph it clearly shows him wearing the SS Totenkopf Honor Ring. The skull is visible as is one of the side runic symbols of the Triangle with the single sigrun. Just thoght it might be of interest to someone who owns or has interest in Honor Rings. James I have never come across any dust Jackets over the years it would be nice to see what they look like if anyone has them. Regards Don Boyle
