Ring is engraved "H.P.L.", and there's an 835 in the box.........Is a personalized ring as desirable as a personalized dagger, etc.? Should I have paid a premium for it?..........If you have one of this style, please post it. - Cheers, Rob Pauch

What do you think about the engraved initials, Gaspare (or anyone)? More desirable, or less, because of them? - Cheers, Bob

,,as long as they look period done for me its better.. Yours I'd think was done by the soldier. Jeweler would grab his gravers right away and carve!
This is painstakingly done,,one hit at a time! ,,nice....
