Hi Guys
I would like your opinion on this tab! I´m not an expert on divisional tabs but in my book this on is a reproduction.
Wrong black fabric and also to thick and final wrong backing IMO
Please share your opinions
Cheers

Hi
I have had a quick look at this item and it is not one that I would choose to buy my first one.
The backing looks like it is trying to replicate a Dacau tab, but the execution, materials used and the lack of detail on the front gives me cause for concern.
I will see if I can dig out an image of mine for you to look at and compare

Thanks Raymond
That would be great! This tab looks a bit like a delta fake, trying to imitate the Dachau type but as mentioned the divisional tabs is not my thing

Hi Lars, I would also reject this one, for all the reasons already stated.
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Lars
Here is mine. I managed to find a couple of images, but apologies for the quality.
As you will see, there is a gulf in difference between the quality of the two, most notably on the front.

I agree with Raymonds and Ade's comments. Its a delta repro. The typical traits of the old delta fake is a slightly rougher (yet quite good) embroidery than an original, felt where you easily can see the pattern (just as in the one Lassi posted), so its not actually felt but rather a woven black backing. The buck ram itself is also special and the grey stitch lines are placed very close to the edges. Buck ram and stitch lines are harder to use as red flags than the woven black backing and the somewhat cruder embroidery.
