Totenkopf Uniform

The attached is a picture of my Grandfather in 1940 - he was in the 12th Company of IR 1 Waffen SS Division Totenkopf - this is the only photo of him in this particular uniform however the Uniform doesn't match (all the others I have do, confirmed by his Wehrpass).

What uniform is he wearing here...?

looks like his early SS-TV jacket [field grey]. Has the early collar tab w/ black and silver twist piping..

What is the number under the totenkopf?

On his WP what does it list his erkennungsmarke as?

The number is a '10' - Do you know where in the WP the Erkennungsmarke is located - on first glance through I can't find it. it has his Division and Company listed under Aktiver Wehrdienst from Sep 39: 12 / SS T I.R. 1

In war time Wehrpaß the Erkennungsmarke number is on page 1.

Thanks Logun, have just had another look at Page 1 which has his Wehrnummer: 09/38/149 E.-Fr. but no Erkennungsmarke, his Wehrpass was issued in 1936 though opposed to in war time
