Nice Etched Saber on Gunbroker

Check this one. It looks like a really nice etched Voos pattern TR saber. Not too often we see decent examples like this on the auction sites.

I bid on it but it wasn't high enough. I bet this one will get up there. And ritefully so.

I also posted this piece over at GD. For those of you who don't have a membership over there, a member commented that this piece may be a bogus etch. Although the saber hilt is fine, as is the blade (I believe), the etch may be a phony from the 70s. I'll be very curious to see where the verdict goes on this one. Definitely worth saving images though for reference either way.

FYI- I guess the piece sold on GB for $1400 USD. Sturmbrigade from GD I know was bidding on it, but he didn't win. If a member here was the winner, could you post some photos of the etch? I'd really like to study this etch since questions about it's authenticity were raised.
