Regiment General Göring

I was lucky to purchase a grouping of a member of regiment genaral Göring.
After duty with several other AA units he served in the tank detroyer battalion of the 1st LW field division.

The group is consisting of various documents like his soldbuch, other personal documents, sportawards and so on.
There are also 2 photoalbums with 600+ photo's a small part i will post in the photo section.

You seem to of landed a great grouping, the photos alone are superb and to have the man's paperwork as well is definitely the cherry on the top . Did he win many awards?

An excellent set of documents, enhanced by the album posted on the 'Photographs and Ephemera' page.

Have you considered posting the documents and some photos together with some research on the 'Collectors Showcase'? I have no doubt that it would make a very interesting piece and be very well received.

The following awards are in his soldbuch:
Annexation of austria, annexation of the sudetenland with spange, E.K.2 .
in his military record after the war there are also E.K.1 Alg. sturmabzeichen.
Woundbadges black and silver.
To bad there are no documents for receiving the awards.

I have a postwar paper he wrote what he did in military service so making a research is not much work in the next few days i will put a nice story in the collectors showcase.
