Hi
My new negatives hit the door Tuesday. After a quick scan I selected the two most interesting rolls to be scanned and developed. One covers France and the other covers Russia. I have no idea if they are from the same unit.
First up the two best images in my opinion. One from each roll.
One
French POWs in a very secure compound. Love the relaxed attitude of the soldier guarding the gate.
Two
Group shot in Russia. Love these type of shots.
Cheers

This roll is unfortunately in poor condition with the end negatives 'falling away'.
Broken track.

More Great Photos......The soldier looks relaxed! He has No worries with that MG Sitting on the desk. Has the Stug lost a Track?

Yes it lost its track. I can't see any damage that would suggest a hit with anything. To me it looks like it was reversing when it threw the track. Later on in the negatives there is a small calibre Russian field gun in the same vicinity. I guess it might have been on hard reverse and lost its track. Hard to tell.
Quick edit the gun is a 76 RK/27-39 infantry gun.

Karl
These images really are excellent. There is something almost 'other worldly' about these!
The earlier war images of soldiers seem 'sterile' and 'clean' when compared with later war images (not sure if that is just me by the way!) and images such as this are always well shared and appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time and effort and you have quitye a collection!
Regards Richard.

Thanks Richard.
I am adding to it slowly but I am sure there are some excellent collections sitting out there that I would love to see.
Cheers

Some more from France, same set but different roll. 4 in a row and show a river crossing. Images are rough and a little dark.
