Well the Max show is over next is the SOS Show. It was nice seeng all my friends from around the world. Two months before the show I picked up a beautiful presentation photo of Adolf Hitler to ( Burgermeister Friedrich Aldehoff ) signed in ink by Hitler and dated on his birthday , January 22, 1936. It is in the original envelope from (Otto Meissner) with his personal seal on the front and back and addressed to the Burgermiester from Krefeld- Uerdingen am Rhien. Also included with the picture is a hand signed cover letter on Otto Meissners letterhead stating the Fuhrer is congratulating him on his long dedicated service and is wishing him a happy birthday and that the Fuhrer has hand signed and dated on your birthday the enclosed photo. This is one of the nicest hand dedicated and full documented presentation Hitler photos I have ever seen. I have some information on the Burgermieser and he died in 1951. My question is two fold. Does anyone have any othe information on him or a photo and also I know they are very expesnive but are there any silver presetation AH Frames for-sale out there if so can you e-mail me at ( honorringman@webtv.net ). Mike C. I fogot to tell you about this one maybe you can help me out. Thank You Don Boyle

Mike thanks for finding his NSDAP card with his proper birth date 22.1.1866.As on the (Krefeld site ) that honors him they show his tombstone and have his birth date wrong and listed as 22.1.1868. As you can see from the Meissner letter he is being wished a happy 70th bithday by Hitler in 1936 which makes his NSDAP card right . Mike any way you might be able to post that document on the forum that you found? Thanks again for your help. Don

Although not within my chosen field of collecting, there is no doubt whatsoever that you have posted some truly unique and extremely interesting pieces here, which cannot fail to grab the readers attention.
I am sure that I echo the sentiments of many here who look forward to seeing some of your collected items in print.
Thanks for posting Don.
Regards Richard.

Richard thank you. The fun of collecting is sharing what you have or what you found or even the information people help you get wether it be a photo, document, ring, badge , dagger, or cloth items. They are all interesting and an important part of history and even when a person has an item that is original and only worth $50 or less I still get excited as it is the history behind the piece and any collection wether small or large is just as important as the other. I never lose interest in any historical item I enjoy them all and that is what collecting is about and with the help of Web Sites and Forums such as this we all get to show our items and enjoy history a lot more. I hope soon I can put some of the items in print in a new book. Thanks to the forum members for all thier help and to you Richard. Regards Don Boyle

Humberto and Bob thank you. I just picked up yesterday out of the wood work two promotion documents in the original presentation folder with large gold eagle to (Heinrich Bohnenkamp) he was promoted from Haumptmann to (Major) on 1,Marz 1940 and from Major to (Oberstleutnant) on 1, April 1942 . If anyone can give me any information on this Officer it would be much appreciated . The K in his last name almost looks like an F but it is ( Henrich Bohnenkamp) . It is always nice to find documents such as this in excellent codition. Thanks again for all your comments. regards Don

Jo sorry for the confusion as I put the two on the same thread but I need information on both men. Burgermeister (Friedrich Aldehoff) from Krefeld-Uerdingen in Rhein and the two new promotion documents I just recieved yesterday promoting (Heinrich Bohnenkamp) to Major on 1, Marz 1940 and then the other promotion document promoting him to (Oberstleutnant) on 1, April 1942. Both of these documents came out of the wood work from a non collector whos Uncle brought them back and they are in the original folders with the Large Gold Nazi Eagle on them. Both folders are the same but unique as the Eagles head on one is facing left and on the other it is facing right. Nice grouping to one man. Any help you can give me Jo is appreciated. Don, i found a Hans Heinrich Bohnenkamp Also a Major, .. all ► this site (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Bohnenkamp) ◄ says about him is: Bohnenkamp nahm von 1939 bis 1945 am Zweiten Weltkrieg teil und erhielt am 22. Januar 1943 das Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes als Major und Kommandeur im Artillerie-Regiment 295[1] für die Kämpfe der Abteilung im Raum Stalingrad.
He took part in the second world war and received the Knights cross on 22 January 1943 as a Major and Kommander in the Artillery Reg. 295 for fighting in the Stalingrad region. But, it says that he was a Major in 1943, and according to your Urkunde, by that time your Heinrich was already promoted to OL. so i doubt if it^s him? only name i could find? The fact that his first name was Hans does`nt matter, i had plenty of Urkunde where the First and second names were used, depending.....so that would`nt be a problem, but i think this aint your guy?

Jo thanks . I saw the Hans Heinrich Bohnenkamp and ruled him out to because of his rank as Major in 1943 . I know many officers who used thier middle name and not there first name. If I am not mistaken I think Rudolf Hess was named Joseph Rudolf Hess. It has been a while but I will look that up. Many well known German officers have used there middel name as well as many women and children. The photo I have personalized to the young jewish girl by Hitler was known as Berneli to her family but to Hitler she was known as Rosa when he personalized the photo who he called His Little Sweetheart according to his photographer Hoffmann. I will pull the photos up from a previous post on this forum so people can see. I wonder who can name some other High Ranking Germans that did not use thier first name . Thanks for trying Don

I have now gotten the file from the US Archives on ( Heinrich Bohnenkamp ) which has two photos of him in his Army Uniform . The information was sent to me thanks to (Mike C. ) one of the forum moderators on this web site. Bohnenkamp was born September 3, 1892 and he was also in World War-1 . Two of his documents have him down as (Heinz Bohnenkamp ). His last promotion is one of the two I have in the folder with the gold eagle which was ( April 1, 1942 to Obersleutnant ). Just thought I would give you an up-date as it is always nice to find out the information on the items we collect as I have always said we are only the care takers of these items and not the owners as when we pass on someone else will be looking at them and will have the information we provided with them.
