Nice looking Rosenthal porcelain pieces you've got there. What are the respective dates on those feisty, acorn eating, Eickhorn model rodents? Nice daggers too :)
I was speaking with a collector a few months back who sold off everything and is focused on Allach pieces now, and that's it. He says he can finally display his items without offending anyone and everyone.

Hi Nib,
I figured that. Who's stamping is on the bottom? Karner? I havn't followed what's going on with the porc. market in recent years...but know prices have risen dramatacally....not only are you competing with NS collectors, but also porcelain figurine collectors. With respect to dates, I would think right around 1938-41??
Search the GD archives. I've seen a couple in the last 8 months ro so. You should be able to find the pic and contact the owner. Perhaps he may be able to give you a better date.

Love the squirrels, Niblet. diden't know they were Rosenthal. I thought they were Allach. Don't know much about the porcelain stuff however I love to see it.

Niblet:
I can't help with the dates...but, I have a Rosenthal squirrel just like yours. It makes a great prop for my Eickhorn blade pictures.
There are two Allach versions of the squirrel that I know of, a plain white one and a coloured one. Johson had a white version for sale on his site about a year ago for around $2k.. I just missed it.
