What Buckle do I have?

I will be up front. I bought this belt buckle in a small town in Romania in 1994. It was an impulse purchase because I don't even collect Third Reich militaria. As far as I can remember, I did not pay much for it. This, of course, means that I know nothing about belt buckles, but am thinking of selling this item as I downsize all my possessions.

Anyone care to tell me what kind of buckle this is and provide some basic info about it?

This has been called a "Rumanian SS" buckle and various other names. I believe it is a Wehrmannshaft Der Deutshen Volksgruppe in Rumanien, a German Ethnic volunteer buckle. Quite rare and really much known about them, I have not seen many myself. It looks original but has lsot all of its silver wash that it once had.
