My computer was hit by virus, and now i want to crash my laptop. I have tried booting with the recovery cd in, like on XP, where it gives you different choices of what you would like to do, but it doesn't work with Vista.
I've tried Google, and on one site it said you can hold down the Widows key and the letter E for about 10secs. I will to try this if i am sure i can re-install without problems.
What do you think i should do?

Lee, no problem. The only time I have YET to play with Vista is on the daughters laptop. It confuses the **** out of me because things are changed so I can;t find out where to do stuff.

EX. Why can;t they leave simple things like ADD/REMOVE programs in a CONTROL PANEL? Nah ... move itto some abstract named directory to screw us old farts up

In fact, I'd heard enough about Vista, so when I bought my new desktop, I had the option at the placeI bought it to install XP or Vista. I stuck with XP and for a year have NOT regretted it. Especially now that Windows 7 is out ....
