Soldbuch, MG badge photo and questions

Hi All,

I recently got this lot. It consists of a soldbuch from Ernst Albert, his promotion? document and two postcards from his brother.

One postcard, which is possible prewar (back had a stamp) shows three German soldiers, the other one, dated 18-8-18 is a group mixed with soldiers wearing the machine gunner badge. I could positively ID one of the three of the first postcard (see images).

A few questions:
1) is it a promotion document and why isn't that enterded in his soldbuch?
2) what are his medals (EK1, EK2 ok, but hoh hollz?).

Nice soldbuch. Hard to see the last award. Some of the worst handwriting I've ever seen.

Not really too keen on the way the 2d and 3rd awards are entered.

I noticed that too. Can a lower ranking officer get the Hohenzollern House Order? Maybe a medal version? The ek1 is possible. IMO.

Maybe some guy wanted to boost the value. I will check if I find more in the same sort of handwriting,
