I'm not particularly a fan of trains etc but knowing the involment of the railways with the N.S. regime I took a gamble & paid them a visit. And boy was I rewarded.......

One this to remember as well with the railways at the time was that initially there were many private railway companies & lines..
A nice stein.

As we are aware, the NS like to commemorate any event, including new trains, speed records, anniversaries in service history etc
Commemorative coins, 100 years of the railway.

A period photo in the exhibition showed an piece of artwork over the door of the building from when it was opened in 1938.
I decided on leaving the museum to have a hunt around & as I hoped, around what is now the rear of the building, the doorway is still there........ Only the Swastika is missing.
