Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross Winner - Information Request

Hi

I have been trying to find out more information on Arthur Mauterer, who was awarded the RK KvK mS at the end of 1944.

He worked under Speer on war production, bringing with him his engineering experience to help the war effort

Have you seen Gordon Williamson's new book "The War Merit Cross"?

There is a small writeup there on Mauterer, however it is much what you already have and there is no photo of him!

Born 31.8.1888 in Ötigheim, died 29.4.1969.

Thanks for that. I have not got Gordon's new book and did wonder if he would have something on Mauterer.
