Berlin Municipal Electric Works.

Would anyone have knowledge or period information on the BEWAG ?
I know in 1923 it was called the Betriebsgesellschaft Berlin Municipal Electric Works Act-Ges.
Merged in 1934 Berlin power and light (Bewag)- Aktiengesellschaft.

This appears to be a cap badge but from what period? Pre WWII? Post WWII?

1936 SEL Ausweis. (SEL built as well, the Goebbelsschnautze for example. (Brown bakalite Radio with Swastika knobs))
Well, it`s Electric, and it`s Berlin, so not that far off :biggrin:

Thanks Jo, interesting Ausweis.

Gaspare, definite copper color to the base metal. May or may not have been silver plated at one time. The patina on the reverse could be covering what is left of a silver coating, or not. :wink:
