just won this on ebay so not got it in hand as yet, apparently its got 43 or 45 stamped on both sides and a palm tree on the front but will post better pics when it lands, i know its nothing fantastic but it just caught my eye and if made by the soldier gives it a personal touch,oh and it was cheap and cheerful which always helps:) rgds Dave

Dave, my opinion is it is a ring probably made in Tunisia, and my guess would be it is 1943. I base this on it looks like blanks made for DAK rings it is silver, with a rose gold platform and a seam on the band that usually are soldered shut. This may have been made for a British or American soldier based on the dates and does not look to have a swastika on it.

nice find on e ban every once in a while something shows up there bill two beautifull ak rings keep them comeing boys cant wait to run the isles and beat gaspare at the union jersey show next week that will be the running of the rings show best andy militarynut

Hi Gaspare, your correct it is 42 , i just took it as 43 and was more trying to work out the other side , thanks for spotting that :thumbup: i need glasses , rgds Dave
