As I do not know anything about the German Red Cross, can someone please tell me if this is a WW2 era piece or post war? Regards Thomas

According to Heering - Husken katalog for badges for the german organisations 1871-1945 is this a badge for Schwesternhelferin r .
What the meaning is for this title is not explained and in the service of the reich written by Angolia is this badge not mentioned.
Of your badge is from the WW2 era i do not know it's always possible that these were also worn after the war as there is no swastika.
