Hi Guys, this tab was taken by a British Veteran who fought in North West Europe from D Day until VE Day.
It was kept glued into his s****book, hence the traces of felt like paper on the reverse.
Cheers, Ade.

I just love the NCO tabs in bullion! Yours is very nice example Ade!
The first SS tab I bought 10 years ago was a salty uniform removed NCO tab and I have loved them ever since! Notice the remains of the paper rzm tag on the reverse.

The runic collar tab on this SS-Oberscharfuhrer of Panzerjager assault gun jacket from the Das Reich Division is an unpiped officer's silver bullion one. This has sewn in Army panzer shoulder straps and a beautiful aluminum flat wire cuffband with the silver gray silk thread borders.

Mein Gott, Bob :001_tt1::drool::001_wub: This SS StuG wrap is what dreams are made of. Well, my dreams, anyway! Outstanding.
Here are a few shots of my SS-Hauptscharführer matched pair, with a beautiful hand embroidered runic tab. Sadly, they are no longer attached to a tunic, but I was very happy to score this little set

Thank you, Rob. I'll be sure to pass along your "Mein Gott" to Willi. Those are a very nice pair of collar tabs. I think many of the professional NCOs spent their own money on upgrading their uniforms.
Speaking of StuG jackets, Willi also has a really nice SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer of Aufklarungs StuG jacket with the slip on shoulder boards with black underlay, golden-yellow waffenfarben, twin gilt metal pips and gilt metal "A" ciphers in Gothic. The tunic has the RZM-styled Das Reich cuffband on it. If anybody is in the Chantilly, Virginia area the week after the MAX Show, he is putting on an exhibit at the Nation's Military & Arms Show. He will be putting up Panzer and Assault Gun Jackets from the Das Reich Division including his well-known camouflaged panzer jacket in the Oakleaf A pattern. So if you like panzer and StuG jackets, and you're close to Northern Virginia, that would be a show to attend.
