To date the best reference collection of photos of sabers in wear comes from Johnson. V1 and V2 of his NS era sabers book has hundreds of images of NCOs and officers from the various services with thier respective sabels, fleigerschwerts, degens, swords in wear.

The books are MSRP'd at roughly $75, however through some research and smart shopping, I picked each of mine up, brand new, almost immediately after thier publishing for between $35-$40 each. Not the best reference for educational value, nor are they "bibles" like Angolia's book, however they are excellent as reference for weapons in wear.

If you have the chance, take a look at them.
