This is being advertised as a WW2 Luftwaffe Pilot & Paratrooper wrist compass. Is that correct? Apart from the AK number on the back there seems to be no other markings. Please excuse quality of photos. Regards Thomas

Hello Thomas, it looks like an ordinary, correct Luftwaffe wrist compass, with original wrist strap. Paratrooper I think not, pilot -yes.
But there is something probably wrong - I don't see a bubble in it. These compasses are filled with fluid and there is quite a large bubble in it, helping to set the compass horizontal, to show the directions correctly /the circle on the glass is there to match the bubble, when the position of the device is correct/. If there is no bubble, probably then the fluid is gone. Still not bad, with the original strap, but if empty, that's a big flaw! Of course, it may be all from the photos, better ask the seller.
Thanks Theodor for the info. I will ask the seller. Regards Thomas
