Hi guys heres my recent purchase a nice condition Rad buckle made by Bernh. Haarmann, Metallwarenfabrik, Ludenscheid, 1936. what do you think?......Best Scott.:biggrin:

Ben its a rare early one:D great news mate:thumbup1:i love the patina & the great detail on this rad theres really no ware at all.....could you tell me if this would match up with a brown or black belt?......cheers Scott.:biggrin:

Scott, for futher occasions, you are able to upload up to 6 images in the same post. This makes it much more quicker and less boring to post. Not only you can upload 6 images in one post, but you can actually upload 3 photos at a time.

Hi Scott, funny I was watching the "Third Reich in Colour" on sky yesterday and they shown a RAD battalion, they all had balck belts on, I believe brown was mostly used by Luftewaffe, but I have seen undyed RAD belts!

Ben so it could be either black/brown but most likely black was used.....i have a black combat belt & an early brown political type so i,ll have to make my mind up:confused1:.........cheers scott.

Scott, the balck combat EM is better than the other, all belts were initially brown anyway as were marching boots pouches ect, they were dyed at some point!
