I know that during WW2 there were some EKs made in Japan, but has anyone ever heard of any EKs being made in Turkey during WW1?

Hi Nick,
I don't know EK's made in Turkey during WWI, I know EK's made in Afrika (pheraps Congo) you can read this on the Privitera book "The Iron Time" and also see the photo of this cross.

No need to make them there in Turkey. They had an open supply line to Germany.
