As part of the validation system, you will be sent an email after completing the first stage of the registration.
Registering your details is not the same as becoming a member as there are two processes left before it is completed and you are granted 'New Member' status.
This email requires the person to validate their email address. This is done by clicking on the link in the email that is titled 'Action Required to Validate Membership'
This is so we can prove that the email is a valid and that it is you that are trying to register, rather than another person using your email address.
After you have clicked the validation link, a message is sent to Administration notifying them that there is a new user who wants to join the forum.
This is the point where checks are run to make sure the user name is valid, it is not a robot spammer attempting to get an account, or that is a person who has not previously registered.
All validations are handled by humans rather than the software specifically for the above reasons. So, it may be a couple of minutes or a few hours to validate your membership as someone is not always available. You will still be able to view the forums, but will not have the posting permissions as members.
If you have 'registered' and you are not showing as a new user, then please email me at mail@worldwarmilitaria.com with your name, user name and email you used to register with. I will then investigate if there is a problem.
