I've had this pin for a number of years and I don't think that I've seen another. I bought it from a dealer at a show. It is very well made especially the detail to the diamond. There are no markings. Has anyone seen another? Any thoughts if it's original.

This is something for the HJ experts to check out. But you're definetly right about the high quality of this badge or tinnie IMO. I like it.
Regards, Wim :)

Interesting. It certaintly looks great quality. Perhaps it could help more close ups on the design and diamond. But that's for HJ guys. I know nothing about membership badges.

Very neat looking pin Heers300. The workmanship is indeed a work of art. Sure hope you find out what it was for?

Interesting. I've not seen an example before either.
Close ups might indeed be of assistance.

this is an ew one on me cant find anything like it in any of the hj books i have, which leads me to believe it is either a private made piece or a fantasy piece,im more towards a private piece as the item does look well made and if it was a fantatsy piece there would be more of them around, badges like this are allways a nightmare and its down to the owner if he wants to believe in it or not

It looks to have something to do with climbing, what with the rope and pick-axe used by mountaineers. I still remember my Dad having one when we still lived in Switzerland and he used to climb regularly. Otherwise I must admit that I have never seen one of these before, but it really looks good! Regards Thomas.

I still haven't found any additional info. I took a photo with an Hj pin to compare the size,
