Hi Guys, here we have the classic "Tommy" helmet as worn by all British and Commonwealth troops in WW2.

The maker markings are for "A.G./.C". for the Aluminum Goods Company

Dated 1942.

Even though these are marked as MkI, they are actually MkII helmets.

Cheers, Ade.

Very nice, and one of the rarest manufacturers of Mk.II's. Most AG/C helmets were allotted to the RCAF.

Thanks for the comments and the interesting fact. Not heard of that before:thumbup1: This helmet was bought at a vintage vehicle show a few years ago now for £10.

Cheers, Ade.

I've got two Canadian pots made by General Steel Wares and 1 to the Canadian Lamp Company. Still looking for an Aliminium Goods one though. Nice lid!
