Gift tins to the troops

These tins are all from the South African forces and date from 1940 to 1945.

The first seen here dates from Xmas 1940 and still has a few of the original cigars inside.

i have alwyas enjoyed Princess Mary tins, as well as stories of the Christmas Truce of 1914.

Now I really like these items and was blissfully unaware of the different types and designs.
