Hi guys. It's me again in the neighbourhood of the paper! I scored another great GREAT deal. It's a lot of 37 magazines of the "En Guardia" series. This was a monthly propagandistic magazine for South America (in spanish, and portuguese for Brazil) in order to keep us in the "good" side :D.
I went to pick it up today and it excceded my expectations. Each mag has 40 pages, 35,5 x 26 centimeters. All covers are in color, and it has a LOT of war related photos. Some of these photos are also in color.

Some info about the magazine:

I was surprised by the ammount of topics it talks about. For obvious reasons, i can't list them all, but if you want me to search for one specific, please do so. There are many photos (not many german ones, but there are some nevertheless) and there may be some rare photos on the mags. Just about all war things are covered.
I will take some photos of the covers, and random images of some mags. I did find some interesting things by taking a quick glance, and will also post some "specially dedicated" photos for some members here who their collecting interests are shown then.
Stay tunned! And please, if you want me to look for something on the mags, shoot it!

Hi.
Yes, no problem. Sorry i haven't posted any photo yet because i have been very busy. I will try to do it tomorrow, take pics of the covers, and the FJ stuff as i find it. Do you mean FJ as in the german side or U.S? I'm not sure if i have seen some things of the german FJs, but there is a lot of stuff of the US. paratroopers.

Last two photos here are amazing.
5th photo is about the baby of a soldier being awarded his/her father's medals, after the father died. Next to the pic it's the father's name, and the man who is awarding them.
6th photo...how rare is that one???

First and second photo, is a map that came inside one magazine. Big size, with nice information on valuable things for trade, etc.
Fourth photo is beautiful. I didn't find that photo anywhere, just 2 more photos that looked like it, but none in color nor in that position.

I hope you liked the photos.

Hi Santi

Now that is a great score you have made.

It is wonderful to see so many colour images for the time.

Well done for getting hold of this and thanks for uploading all the images.

Excellent:thumbup:
