In this photo of my room you can see the Graf Spee in Montevideo's port, showing the eagle which was rescued a few years ago and a few crew men possing for the photo.
It's not a period original photo, but a photo copy which has been enlarged, but no quality loss. The paper quality is top one.
I hope to add 1 or 2 more to the wall, to make a small grouping of the Graf Spee. Thankfully, this display didn't consume too many neurons arguing if i was allowed or not.
Hope you like it.

Thanks, guys! My mom had that idea of the 2 glasses and the hanging system. I will have to take it down someday to clean some finger prints that were left inside the glass :(

Here's more info on where the eagle is right now, and more plans to rescue other GS things.
Take a look:

Martin, what a great photo that is! You can clearly see the side emblem that the divers will try to rescue in the next expedition.
Don't worry, i will save this one, if you don't mind. I want to add it to my digital images of the GS collection.

In the wall of my room i only wanted to put photos of the GS in Uruguay. That's why the first one was in the port. I think the next two will be one side photo showing "El Cerro" (an emblematic hill of Montevideo) in the background, and another photo of the wreck sinking.

Very interesting. Her husband was probably at Isla Martin Garcia, where the Graf Spee POW's were located.
Although i don't buy online, thanks for the link

Santi tell the truth! The eagle is actually in Santi's living room over the bar. He stole that big sucker in the middle of the night with a couple of members from this forum. I saw them. hehehe:D

 That's why i had to put the Graf Spee in my wall!
Im hoping to add a couple more, and, of course, the gift from a friend of mine of a signed dedicated picture of my fav artist!
In the other wall of my room (not shown in the photo) i hope i can add some things to put my books, just above the computer desk; but now there, i have the PC, and another shelf with random stuff hehe. So it's not very empty! :)
