This one of the most impressive SS photos I have ever seen. (not my favourite one though ;) ) It was part of a large photo grouping of LAH in the early years. I got most of the photos of this grouping but missed a few since the seller sold them one by one about 6 or 7 years ago. It did go for big money back then... I believe it to be unpublished. From the other photos in that group my guess is that the photo depicts a ceremony after the victory over France in 1940.

Ade just wrote in another thread, what the stuff could be worth in a single photo. Just imagine...

Odd, not a cuffband among them. Where are all those 'experts' who say that LAH members always had a cuffband and couldn't have the ciphers without a cuffband. Nice photo. I'd say this was early LAH wartime as they have wartime decorations.

Excellent photograph with plenty to study.

Interesting point from Bob. There are plenty of WWII awards on show, but not cufftitle to be seen.

Interesting photo showing lots of awards, Have one photo album of a CT wearing unit., Was surprised how few photos have the CT in view.
