Years ago I had gotten a multi link bracelet while at a battlefield dig of the Wiking div. in Ukraine.
I was lucky enough to be the one washing everyone's pieces at the local water hole.. Nothing was mine as I found nothing but they usually offered me pieces for bringing them lunch or helping to pack up and do the preliminary wash. The bracelet was meaningless to them and they were more than happy to give it to me when I expressed interest.. The title piece is 'Gruss Von Danemark'..
A month ago or so I picked up another. In much better shape. Seems they were all silver washed and it must have come off rather quickly.. So its basically the same piece with the exception of the title piece on this one says 'Westfront' and another emblem,,a plane!
So here is the dug one on the left,,,and the westfront on the right:

Now the reason for this topic.. *I believe that every emblem on it is also a ring..
I own a flak gun example,,the motorcycle with sidecar example,, the Westwall bunker and the tank...
I'll get them out and put photos on in the next day or so..
I've also seen the helmeted soldier and eagle as a ring. But never have seen the plane..
Does anyone have the plane?..or even the helmeted soldier ring?

Hi Gaspare,
I think you will find connection of your bracelet with German price plaques. The design of your bracelate matches the German rings given to soldiers as an award. Along with the price plaques, the rings with the same design were given as the price. It's usually the same maker of the plaques.(stickers on the back of the plaques will help you find the name of the company making them ) .I belive the bracelet was a salesman sample.
Good luck with hunting german jewlery.

Here's a quick shot of the last 2 I have off the bracelet..
The most common of these rings probably is the Flak gun and the Bunker... The rest are pretty hard to find..
So we have 4 out of the six here..
Lets hope someone comes up with Plane and the Soldier/Eagle for us to oogle at:tongue_smilie:

Well, my time is getting very very short. I really wanted to have all the rings from this bracelet. I'm short on just 2..
On post #3. Photo on left,,the plane.. Photo on right Helmeted soldier and eagle.. I've heard that the Helmeted Soldier and Eagle is some sort of monument in Germany [?]...
Anyway. Please pass the word to any other rings collectors you might know,,,I really need photographs of those 2 rings... Thanks for the help guys.....,G.

Gaspare very nice bracelet and rings. :thumbup1: These rings must be very rare, I never have seen them.
Helmet Soldier and eagle ....monument, I don’t know.
On your bracelet is depicted the soldier and eagle.
-Perhaps in the soldiers frontsoldaten iconography; a relation between the soldier / read Wehrmacht and the eagle as the symbol of power of the nazi party.
-And/or it refers to the feeling of the old Germanic god Wodan and his ravens , which were very popular in older days in Germany’s tradition. Just a guess.
The relation between eagle and Wehrmacht, the Luftwaffe on Crete
