The intention is to offer regular prizes to the winner of the referral competition.
In essence, you recommend the forum to a friend and if they sign up and fill in the referrer details correctly, then you get points for it.
The person with the most points then wins the prize.
So, I have compiled a couple of screen dumps so that you do not lose out by recommending a friend and they do not fill in all the details.
So, the first page of registration has the user to enter their date of birth.
On the second page of the registration, your friend will need to fill in all the relevant details, but needs to look out for the section entitled 'Referrer'.
In that they will need to enter the members user name. As you enter the information, a pull down menu will appear with the current list of members. Click on the correct user name and then finish the registration. Please note, in my case it should be RaymondG and not Raymond as it will not count (see image 3)
