Hi Matt, it looks rather small to be military to me? Certainly nothing I recognise.

Hello Ade,
you're right, it's quite small,possibly a .22 LR. The area where I found it was a military shooting range from the mid '800 till early 50's. You can find things from Napoleonic armies until BETFOR.

I don't think that with all the various bolt action arms there are that you will ever get a definitive answer on this one!
