MP40 Pouches

Hi all, I recently bought a pair of leather Norwegian MP40 pouches as original ones are way out of my price league :angry: I was surprised to see they were maker marked and dated 1939 :confused: were the Norwegians also using MP40,s at this stage of the war?

Hi Ben, no they did not use the MP40 until after the war.

These pouches are post war issue but have been dyed black and spurious stamps added. These pouches were a universal one design for use with both MP40 and Sten gun mags.
