For those who dont have access to fancy things, and want cheap, but still nice displays...this is a good way to show off your dagger.

I went to a carpenter, gave him the measures and he got me this nice wooden box. I varnished it myself, and also bought a small glass to go on the top. The box has a small sliding system that allows the glass to move in both directions, so it protects the interior from, dust, etc. When you want to take out the dagger, you slide the glass away.
I also had a little "pillow-bed" for it, but i realized it wasnt good for the dagger's preservation and removed it. It is momentarily laying down in some paper tissues until i find something that doesnt affect the dagger.
Anyway, what i want to show here is not how its laying there but how its displayed.
This box and glass method is good for the low budget collectors. I made it all for less than 6 dollars. I know there are plenty of other display methods and much better than this one, but it can make a simple but cosy way to show of your daggers or any other item that could be displayed in the same way.

Thanks Scott.
It actually looks much better after i did the monthly cleaning and used a blue paper tissue to put it on instead of the white one.

Excellent way to display daggars Santi. It really makes them stand out. For multiple daggars you could build a box with several "bays", one for each daggar. I like it.
