Here is an assignment card that was given to my dad.

Some of these postings might not be considered "militaria" but every soldier had to deal with these areas one time or another during the war. I think it helps up today fill in the cracks of their daily life.

Interesting item Greg. Shows the level of detailed required to ship guys from one place to another.

thanx for posting that. i have never seen one,and just assumed the Sarge would tell the men where they would eat ,sleep etc
