DAK/Luftwaffe Ring I spotted today

I spotted this on Detlev's update and it was very quickly snapped up.

If you look at the face it is engraved 'AL'

These type rings are called 'campaign made', 'field made', local craftsperson made.. I usually do not like these types [although I do have a few in my collection] because when exactly were they made!!
This one I'm on the believing side because I'm pretty sure that could be Arabic writing on the sides!
Interesting piece. Maybe a member with a DAK ring with the known Arabic writing on the sides will post theirs for comparison...Thanks , G.
