Its called iGoogle. Amazing feature that i discovered not so long ago. Its your own "website" and you can add things to it. I really recommend it. You can add things like live news, mini gmail inbox, weather forecast for your city, quotes/photo/facts/ of the day, quick Wikipedia search, and many more cool features.
