Hi folks,hope you don't mind me showing these here. I did check it was ok first. I have provenance with most,that i can post along with engraving as all are named. But i didn't want to push my luck. First up Crimea medals. Regards Stewy

Next an Egypt medal with Tel-el-Kabir clasp. One of the first one the scene after an overnight march. Next a Boar war medal,only 106 issued to this regiment none with clasp. Stewy

these are most impressive! The Crimea medals in particular are stunning

Thanks Scott,they're quite different. The one with the nice patina belonged to a career soldier. Who was in the real thick of it with his regiment at the start of Sebastopol. A while later while on duty in Ireland he commited suicide at about the age of 42yrs. He had only a small gambling debt & a slate in the pub. Quite sad really,his belongings were fowarded to his sister as next of kin. Regards Stewy

I've had these Gems in Hand! And there outstanding to look at. Along with provenance makes these special
lots of fine detail showing age----Not like Stews Photos show us!
