Hi
Let' see a few personal favourites from members' collections.
Maybe it is tunic removed example or minty fresh. Whatever the state then post it up

Hi
Here is my favourite to start the ball rolling.
As you can see, it is somewhat salty, but I love it

This is a Germania cuffband in aluminum flat wire including the borders. The lettering is done in Latin. The Adolf Hitler cuffband is an early RZM pattern. And then there's the pizza man! Italian SS?

When taken all things into consideration I think that my favourite SS cufftitle in my collection has to be this well used and uniform removed Das Reich cuff. It also has remnants of a paper rzm tag.
This version with the slightly fatter style of embrodery is frequently seen in period photos, even for officer ranks.

These DAS REICH cuffbands are both aluminum wire machine-woven lettering and silver-gray silk borders. They are still on the sleeves of the two jackets: panzer and StuG.

Great cuffs Bob!
Always wanted a flat wire Das Reich and I will get one. :001_unsure:
Would not trade away my cuff for any loose flat wire version though, unless its on a tunic:)

Thank you, Felix... although of course these aren't mine, but I know where they live!!!
The GERMANIA that I posted in #3 is an aluminum wire machine woven lettering and aluminum wire borders... and the GERMANIA is in Latin. That is certainly a tough piece. And then there is the silver bullion Germania cuffband in Gothic that belonged to Demelhuber.

There are plenty of 'Thuringen's around, but 'Thule' in silver flatwire is next to impossible to find.

Strictly speaking, it is no longer a cuff title as it was recessed into the cover of an SS photo album when the album was made. Cuff title folds around edge of cover & runs under the inside front covering where it is cut short.
It is however a very rare band.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite since I only have 7 cuff titles but, I think this one is it.

Here is my 'Germania' in Gothic silver flatwire. I think I also have one in Roman lettering but will have to look.

You've got some really great cuffbands there. Thanks for showing them. Of course I could never just hang everything in the closet and not share. What's the sense in having it if you're not going to share. That is how many collectors get into trouble... the dealers find themselves a 'closet collector' and then feed them fakes for big money. Many times the family that inherits the stuff finds out that their relative was taken to the cleaners.

Hello everyone,
Here's for my first contribution as new member (joined today) and love this impressing website!
Happy and proud to be member!
For obvious reasons (have family who fought with Frw. Legion Flanders at the Eastern Front) this one must be my favourite!
Cheers!

I am adding another one, not quite "my favourite", but at least special because it is a special variation of this well known divisional cufftitle. At first it looked strange to me but when I checked the excellent reference book Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler - Volume one, by Stan Cook and R. James Bender, on page 339 is a picture which shows exactly this version, and it is referred to as having been manufactured by a company in Leopoldsburg (Belgian garrison town in the province of Limbourg) after the transfer from the Eastern Front to Belgium in 1944. So after all quite a nice example of what is called the execption to the rule!

My Norwegian themed cuff title collection.
Of these, I would pick the silk 'Den Norske Legion' as my favourite.
