Excellent piece, nice to see a real one. I have a very similar piece which was taken by the free french and is marked with the cross of Lorraine and enscribed "souvenir de resort Bardia 2eme rgt de gaul. the liner is similarly dark. if you would like some images please feel free to contact me.
